Seniors are a significant and growing part of the Victorian population. They are integral to the social and economic wellbeing of Victoria. As individuals and as a community, we can be enriched by the experience of ageing. However, we need to be open to the changes that come with an ageing population and prepared to respond positively. Making this the Age to Be in Victoria: A Forward Agenda for Senior Victorians signals a commitment by government to provide leadership – to business, the service sector and the community – to work together to improve Victorians’ experience of ageing.
