Ministerial Advisory Council of Senior Victorians
The Ministerial Advisory Council of Senior Victorians was established by the Premier in 2001, to formally enable older people to have a voice about issues affecting their health and wellbeing.

The Council does this by:
- meeting regularly and organising working groups to focus on specific issues and projects
- listening to the views of seniors through Council members' links with many community-based seniors’ organisations
- liaising with key seniors’ organisations
The Council reports to the Minister for Senior Victorians, the Hon Lisa Neville MP.

The Council’s term of office is from 2007 – 2010. The previous Council ran from 2001 – 2006.
